See The Big Picture unveiled at Millennium Point

Come see it happen LIVE at ThinktankEveryone is invited to come to see the breaking of a World Record on Saturday (23rd August) at 2pm in Birmingham.

BBC Midlands Today’s Shefali Oza will be on hand to talk to the shortlisted photographers and reveal which photo becomes The Big Picture.

The Big Picture mosaic will be 900m2 in size (about the size of three tennis courts), and will be unveiled outside Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum at Millennium Point (Google Map). It’s completely free.

Helen Marshall, Artist was commissioned to lead the final phase and making of the Big Picture. She worked with photo mosaic specialists PollyTiles to realise the enormous image made up of photographs submitted by the public.

    If any one knows where Trinny and Susanna are right now could you send them around my house! I have tried that many outfits on and my bedroom looks like we’ve been burgled! I never fretted this much at my own wedding!
