Cripplegate Park is a formal park next to the River Severn. It is an oasis in the middle of several major roads but offers views across the river to the city. It has many specimens of ornamental trees along with formal beds and flowering areas amid longer grass.

There are toilets. Refreshments are available when The Friends of Cripplegate Park are running events, for example The Celebration of Spring March 29th.

How do I get there…?

Located off New Rd, Tybridge Street and Hylton Rd.

By road
Head towards the County Cricket Ground, Cripplegate Park is opposite.

By rail
Foregate Street Station, head towards the River Severn, cross the bridge. Cripplegate Park is opposite the County Cricket Ground. 10 minute walk

Pay and Display car park in the park, off Tybridge Street.

When is it open…?

Main gates remain unlocked in the evening.

What about disability access…?

Good Access. No steps within the park, tarmac paths.
